After a two-year hiatus due to Covid restrictions, Pathways to the Future Trust has made up for lost time and handed out 15 awards this year totaling $14,950.00.

Employee nominations were plenty as businesses are now more than ever acknowledging the worth of good employees who show genuine leadership and contribute to their business’s success.

Our first presentation of the year was part of the RBA hosting at First Scene Costume & Party Hire/Diamond Event Hire and highlighted the achievements of three of our successful nominees. Awardees were Leina O’Brien (Prestige Loos), Sarah Tupara (Jump), and Helena Holvast (First Scene Party & Costume Hire) who attended Supervision, Leadership, and Assertiveness Skills courses.

“One for all and all for one.” This is one of the key statements that we learned straight off as it really describes the meaning of being assertive, both in the workplace and in everyday life.

“I’m very grateful for this opportunity and had an amazing time at the EMA course being able to learn such valuable skills that will grow my confidence and self-esteem.” Helena Holvast.
